Professor Brian Hibbs

Bio: Brian Hibbs, Ph.D., is a full professor of education at Dalton State College who regularly teaches courses in applied linguistics, TESOL methodology, and culture and education designed to prepare pre-service elementary-education teachers to work effectively with multilingual learners of English in their own instructional contexts. From 2017-2020, Dr. Hibbs served as the director of the University System of Georgia’s USG Goes Global Madrid program. During the same period, he also served as chair for the High-Impact Practices Implementation Team at Dalton State College.
