Conference Governance & Ethics

The GARI International Conference on Science, Technology, and Data-Driven Innovation (2026) is committed to maintaining the highest standards of academic integrity, transparency, and scholarly excellence.

All conference activities—including submissions, peer review, and presentations—are conducted in accordance with established principles of research ethics and professional conduct.

Peer Review Policy

All submitted manuscripts and abstracts undergo a double-blind peer review process conducted by qualified reviewers with expertise in the relevant fields.

Each submission is evaluated based on:

  • Originality and novelty
  • Relevance to the conference themes
  • Methodological rigor
  • Clarity and quality of presentation
  • Contribution to the advancement of knowledge

The review process is designed to ensure fairness, objectivity, and academic rigor.

Conflict of Interest Policy

To ensure the integrity and impartiality of the review process, reviewers must not evaluate submissions with which they have any real or perceived conflict of interest.

Conflicts may arise when a reviewer:

  • Has collaborated with the author(s)
  • Is affiliated with the same institution
  • Has a personal or financial relationship with the author(s)

If a conflict is identified, the reviewer must immediately disclose it to the Conference Chair and recuse themselves from the evaluation of the submission.

Reviewer Confidentiality

To ensure the integrity and impartiality of the review process, reviewers must not evaluate submissions with which they have any real or perceived conflict of interest.

Conflicts may arise when a reviewer:

  • Has collaborated with the author(s)
  • Is affiliated with the same institution
  • Has a personal or financial relationship with the author(s)

If a conflict is identified, the reviewer must immediately disclose it to the Conference Chair and recuse themselves from the evaluation of the submission.

Reviewer Confidentiality

All submissions are treated as confidential documents.

Reviewers must not:

  • Share manuscripts with third parties
  • Disclose submission contents
  • Use ideas or data from manuscripts before publication

Violation of confidentiality guidelines may result in removal from the review committee and restriction from future participation in GARI activities.

Invited vs Peer-Reviewed Presentations

To maintain transparency and clarity in conference communications, presentations will be clearly distinguished as either Invited Presentations or Peer-Reviewed Contributions.

Invited Presentations

  • Keynote addresses
  • Distinguished guest lectures
  • Invited talks or special sessions

These will be labeled “Invited Presentation.”

Peer-Reviewed Submissions

Accepted submissions will be identified as:

  • Peer-Reviewed Full Paper
  • Peer-Reviewed Abstract

These labels will appear across:

  • Conference program
  • Website
  • Presentation materials
  • Participation certificates

Publication Ethics

Authors submitting work must ensure that:

  • The work represents original scholarship
  • Proper citations and acknowledgments are provided
  • The manuscript is not simultaneously submitted elsewhere
  • All listed authors have approved the submission

Any form of plagiarism, data fabrication, or unethical research practice will result in rejection and possible restriction from future GARI events.

Commitment to Scholarly Integrity

The Global Association for Research and Innovation (GARI) promotes a global research environment grounded in integrity, transparency, responsible scholarship, and interdisciplinary collaboration.
