A global mentorship and publication fellowship for emerging researchers

Supporting early-career scholars through mentorship, conference presentation, and scholarly publication across diverse academic and professional fields.

About the Fellowship

The GARI Research Mentorship & Publication Fellowship (RMPF) is a structured international fellowship pathway designed to support emerging researchers in developing conference-ready and publication-ready scholarly work under the guidance of experienced mentors.

The fellowship also serves as an entry point into the GARI Global Research Collaboration Network (GRCN), connecting mentors and researchers across multiple countries.

GARI Publication & Funding Framework (2026)

Global Association for Research and Innovation (GARI)

Supporting Research Development, Publication, and Global Visibility

Overview

The GARI Research Mentorship & Publication Fellowship operates a structured publication framework designed to support researchers at different stages of development while maintaining academic quality, global visibility, and accessibility.

The framework is mentor-driven, flexible, and aligned with international scholarly standards.

1. Mentor-Driven Publication Model

Publication decisions are guided by the Research Mentor, who determines the most appropriate journal pathway based on:
•research quality and maturity
•disciplinary alignment
•publication goals (visibility, impact, indexing)
GARI provides the platform, structure, and quality assurance, while mentors retain intellectual and strategic leadership over publication direction.

2. Dual Publication Pathway Model

Pathway A — GARI-Affiliated Journals

Suitable for:
•developing or emerging research
•interdisciplinary and exploratory work
•cohort-based outputs
Features:
•structured submission process
•peer-reviewed publication
•Crossref DOI registration
•indexing in Google Scholar and other academic databases

Primary outlet:
CogNexus: A Multidisciplinary Journal of Research and Innovation

Pathway B — External Indexed Journals (High-Impact Route)
Encouraged for:
•mature and high-quality manuscripts
•graduate and doctoral-level research
•targeted journal strategies (including Scopus-indexed journals, Q1–Q3 where appropriate)
GARI Role:
•research development support
•pre-submission refinement
•conference presentation and feedback
•optional internal review prior to submission

3. Editorial and Review Structure

All manuscripts submitted through GARI pathways undergo:
  • internal editorial screening
  • structured peer review by qualified reviewers
  • alignment with academic and ethical publication standards

Final publication decisions remain independent and journal-based.

4. Publication Support and Accessibility

GARI recognizes that publication in some high-impact journals may involve Article Processing Charges (APCs).

To ensure inclusive participation, the framework supports:
  • identification of journals with varying APC structures
  • guidance on cost-effective publication options
  • collaborative approaches among co-authors or research teams
  • development of sponsor-supported publication pathways (in progress)

This approach ensures that financial constraints do not limit participation or research dissemination opportunities.

5. Conference–Publication Integration

The framework integrates:
  • conference presentation (GARI International Conference Series)
  • manuscript refinement
  • journal submission
This creates a structured pipeline from:
research development → presentation → publication

6. Strategic Objective

The GARI Publication Framework is designed to:
  • support high-quality research development
  • enable global dissemination of scholarly work
  • provide flexible publication pathways
  • balance accessibility with academic rigor
  • position researchers for both internal and external publication success
