Bio: Dr. Donald L. Dyer is Associate Dean for Faculty and Academic Affairs and Distinguished Professor of Modern Languages at the University of Mississippi, where he has served since the late 1980s. He oversees faculty advancement, graduate education, research, awards, and interdisciplinary programs. A former department chair, he holds degrees in Russian and Slavic Linguistics from UNC Chapel Hill and the University of Chicago.
