Bio: Thompson Odion Igunma is a researcher in Materials Science and Engineering at the University of Florida, specializing in computational materials and mechanics. His work centers on phase field modeling of irradiation and corrosion in molten salt environments under the U.S. DOE-funded Yellow Jacket Project. With extensive experience as a Mechanical Engineering Technician at GZ Manufacturing, he brings expertise in manufacturing operations, Lean Six Sigma, and high-performance computing. Thompson has authored numerous peer-reviewed publications, presented at international conferences, and earned recognition as a Fellow of the National Institute of Professional Engineers & Scientists for his contributions to nuclear materials research.
